Canadian lady sues Jetairways for her rights;

This Canandian woman fought for her consumer rights! Not for any thing very serious that we would imagine; but for being refused an alchoholic drink.

For standing up for her rights, she has been awarded a penalty of Rs. 50,000/-.

While fighting so she taught us a billion plus Indians a valuable lesson which is the same as that of what  Mahatma Gandhi taught us and with which he has helped us win the independence.

So while there is nothing new about this news item; we have chosen our Independence day to remind us all of this supreme power to fight. To stand up and fight for our rights those which belong to us as consumers.

If someone who does not belong to the land of Mahatma Gandhi can stand up and fight for hte cause of liquour, we who are proud to hail from the  land of Mahatma can very well stand up for our rights.

That the element of alchoholic benerage fought for has no bearing on our Independence celebrations.

Customerawaaz.com wishes you a very happy Independence day.
