Can astrology resolve our problems?? Sri Bhavani Sankaram Ivaturi, a reknowned astrologer helps us understand.

Jyothish sastra or Astrology is an ancient science which has been existing since times immemorial. While many people do not understand this and think it is a fluke or chance prediction, it is actually the study of the influence of the planets and stars on the life on this earth. Every aspect of life can be known from the horoscope like health, finance, career, marraige, education, progeny, fame property, human relations, weak points, life after death etc.

Its principles were laid down by ancient saints and seers after a deep study with their divine vision. There are innumerable principles, movement of planets and star combinations that result in combinations of ascendants and birth stars in this science and it is an ocean. Analysing these positions and application of these rules to deliver the prediction for a person’s horoscope chart is a talent of the Astrologer. The most important requirements to cast a horoscope accurately are the date of birth, exact time of birth and place of birth of the person.

Many a time, people have the question as to what will be the utility of knowing something that is already destined and cannot be changed? However, astrology also presents us solutions that when the future is known to us we will be in a position to avert an evil event or we will try to reduce the evil by application of the same principles available. This also involves the wearing of precious and semi precious stoned cut to specific size and measurements to allow sufficient Sunlight and water to interact through them.

So the conclusion is if the future is good we can try to improve it and if it is not so good then the negative effects can be reduced.

A  final message on this: Jyothish sastra also gives us a message that we should perform virtous actions only, if we have to be happy in future. This is because Astrology indicates the results of our past actions. So if something is not right with us today, it is not only important to look into the future but we should also learn from our past.
